Keisa Burrell from the Metro Nashville Public Health Department will lead this discussion of the Metro Nashville Health Department programming and inspection standards. Participants will be given the unique perspective of seeing the inspection processes from the point of view of a health inspector. This conversation is designed to ensure your facility is prepared to meet all current and future health standards as well as learn about expanded programming available from the Metro Nashville Public Health Department.

In collaboration with Pathway Lending, AccuWorks, and Host(s), SFM is pleased to offer a free professional development opportunity.

Brandon England, the Energy Efficiency Director from Pathway Lending will discuss the details of the Energy Efficiency Loan program. This program can finance any investment in a fixed asset that provides significant reductions in energy. Emissions, and /or utility consumption.

The Energy Efficiency lending program allows any industrial, commercial, private non-profit business, or local government with facilities in Tennessee are eligible for a loan from $20,000 to $5 million. Through the current program rates from 2% for 5-year terms, 5% for 10-year terms, and up to 100% financing for projects up to $5 million.

A Conversation With TN State Fire Marshal Inspectors

Learn about the fire inspection process & life safety codes from members of the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office

In collaboration with The Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office, and Cathedral of the Incarnation, SFM is pleased to offer a free professional development opportunity.

Gary Farley and Christopher Bainbridge from the Tennessee State Fire Marshal Office will lead this discussion. This course is designed to teach church and school administrators as well as facilities staff how to insure their facility is meeting life safety codes and prepared to pass the state fire marshal inspection process.

Facility Management Training
    The discussion will address questions related to the fire safety and inspection process, such as:

In collaboration with Open Table Nashville and Cathedral of the Incarnation, SFM is pleased to offer a free professional development opportunity for all area facility management professionals, school and church staff, and volunteers.

    The discussion will address real-life examples such as:
  • A strange car in the parking lot with someone in it
  • A stranger in the school library. Get them to leave.
  • Someone comes to the church door asking for a handout - becomes aggressive
  • Panhandlers in the parking lot at dismissal
  • Upset parent in the school office
  • Upset person told they can’t park in a specific area during an event

Members of the Stormwater Division in Nashville Metro Government will be leading a discussion in city regulations regarding stormwater and grease trap maintenance.

    Topics will include:

  • Public Education/Misc Stormwater Impacts
